By using Ptera (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service provides the following software features:
The Service is not a travel agency. We do not arrange, broker, or act as an agent for travel contracts. Booking contracts are formed directly between you and the external provider. The Service is an information tool for trip planning and referral.
Some features require an account via Google OAuth or email/password. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. We may suspend accounts without prior notice if misuse is detected. You may delete your account at any time.
You retain copyright to content you upload (trip plans, posts, comments, images, etc. — "User Content"). You grant us a license to store, display, back up, technically process (convert, compress, cache), present your User Content to third parties based on the visibility setting you choose, and to quote it for service promotion with reasonable credit.
Each plan/post has visibility controls (public / followers-only / mutual-only / private / link-share). You may change or delete at any time.
You are responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of your User Content. We do not pre-screen content.
Users must not (see Community Guidelines for detail):
We may hide/remove User Content or suspend/ban accounts when we determine violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, when reports are corroborated, when law requires it, or when necessary for service health. Deletion is logical first (retention period) then physical. Report records are retained internally for moderation.
The Service offers AI-assisted planning via Anthropic's Claude API. AI-generated content is reference only; you are responsible for fact-checking. Do not rely on it for business, medical, or legal decisions. Only itinerary-related data is sent to the AI (see Privacy Policy). AI endpoints are rate-limited for cost protection.
The Service contains links to external booking services (Trip.com, Travelpayouts, etc.). We may receive a referral fee for completed bookings. Booking contracts are formed between you and the external provider — we are not a contracting party. External transaction issues (booking failure, price fluctuation, refunds) are governed by each provider's terms. Exchange rates and fares displayed are approximate and may differ from actual transaction values.
The Service is currently provided free of charge as an alpha. If paid features (subscriptions, etc.) are introduced, we will announce them in advance and update the Specified Commercial Transaction Act Disclosure. Existing free features will not be paywalled without notice.
Information provided by the Service (safety advisories, visa requirements, budget estimates, tourism tips, AI-generated content, etc.) is for reference only. We do not guarantee accuracy, timeliness, or completeness. Always verify with official government sources before traveling. We are not liable for damages arising from reliance on Service information or User Content, nor for outages or errors of external services (booking sites, AI APIs, payment providers).
The Service itself (UI, code, brand, design, documentation) is owned by c&F. Quoted material from official sources remains the property of the respective copyright holders. User Content copyright remains with the user (see Section 4).
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in advance via in-app notices. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
The Japanese version of these Terms is the authoritative text. Versions in other languages are reference translations only; in the event of any discrepancy between a translated version and the Japanese version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
